About the project
Gravitas Energy Group is revolutionising the traditional solar farm model, to increase return on investment, secure minimal risk and to create a more sustainable future for Tasmania.
How does it work?
1
A new 60MW solar farm
Gravitas Energy Group have secured 176 hectares of land and have been granted permission to connect for a 60 Megawatt renewable power utility in North West Tasmania, by Tas Networks.
Eagle Rock’s energy will be managed by Gravitas Energy Group’s own energy provider G-Power (Gravitas Power).
2
Panels are pre-purchased by individual customers
Customers pre-purchase 5 to 100 kW systems, dependant on their energy generation needs, and pay for the panels ahead of installation.
This eliminates debt funding for the Eagle Rock Renewables Farm, creating greater security on investment.
3
Customers make continued return on investment
Each customer will purchase their required system for $7500 per 5kW.
Each 5kW system will then return approx. $912 of revenue per annum, and $867 each year in net income after maintenance.
This equates to an 11.5% annual ROI.
